KARA sold all the tickets for their first concert tour in Japan and attracted over 150,000 audiences.
With the additional concert held at Saitama Super Arena on May 26 and 27, KARA finished their first concert tour in Japan, KARASIA. Starting from Yokohama in April, KARA went to Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Tokyo. Including the additional city Saitama, they held total twelve concerts in six cities, attracting over 150,000 audiences from all over Japan.
The last concert at Saitama Super Arena on May 27 was aired live at sixty theaters throughout Japan and all tickets for the theaters were also sold out.
KARA’s first concert tour in Japan received enthusiastic responses with their hit songs, including “Jet Coaster Love,” “Go Go Summer,” and “Speed Up,” and the members’ individual performances. At the concerts in Tokyo and Saitama, the popular Japanese idol group AKB48, child actor Ashida Mana, singer Aoyama Teruma, popular host Teri Ito, actress Suzuki Emi, and actor Wentz Eiji also attended.
KARA’s second full-length album Super Girl, which over 800,000 copies were sold, was also released as a special edition to commemorate KARA’s first concert tour in Japan and nearly a million copies of it have been sold so far.
